I replaced the suspension springs. The repair went well. My arm did not fit in between the tub and the frame as well as the repair video (and I don't have a lot of muscle!) so I had trouble grasping and pulling the rod in order to disengage it during removal and especially when trying to hold it to re-engage it during installation of the new rod.
I used a screwdriver during the removal to slide into the hook and pull from above the washer. This was much easier for me.
The screwdriver wouldn't work during installation of the new rod, so I used a string loop that I passed through the hole and slid onto the hook then pulled the hook up through the hole and was able to engage the bushing without a problem.
Overall repair was pretty easy once I figured this (screwdriver and string) out. It does take some strength to pull the rods during removal and installation.
