I could see that the tub was completely loose inside the washer. So, I went online and google'd the model of my washer and found the videos posted by ApplianceParts.Pros.com. Amazing! After I watched the video, Since a replacement washer would be close to $900, I decided better to give it a shot fixing my washer than to start calling repairmen to get a $400 quote to fix it. I was able to disassemble the machine myself and found that the "Spider" was completely corroded. WHAT A BAD DESIGN. They mated a cast aluminum spider to a stainless steel tub and let that soak in washing machine fluid. Not the best. My machine is eight years old. I ordered the parts from APP.com and they were here in two days. Took me about two hours to finish putting the machine back together and viola! It works fine.
