Raymond H Ellicott City , MD November 03, 2017 Appliance: General Electric Washer GFWN1100L0WW Ge Washer Gfwn1100l0ww: Loud noise in spin mode initially thought it was bearings. How to replace Tub_Seal. Dug in, With the assistance of YouTube I essentially removed everything from the cabinet assuming I was going to replace the bearings. When I finally got the tub removed I realized the arms on the tub/spindle were wrecked, I couldn't believe the damage. I ordered a new tub assembly from Appliance Parts Pros, it arrived next day. With the assistance of You Tube I was able to reassemble and it works great. This is a crazy amount of work and complexity, but with patience and YouTube videos it was possible with no problems. Just pay close attention to the order or removal and reinstallation and you'll be fine. 1 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 2+ hours
