After disassembly found (plastic) Blower Wheel had the center hub broken from the fan body. Had to disassemble the entire unit (remove the drum) to get to the point where we could get leverage to remove old blower wheel remnants (The only place to grab the motor shaft is on the rear near the pulley) but once the fan was replaced everything was easy. Sounds like a new unit.
(Also, putting the belt on the tensioner is a PITA)
