The noise was from a worn out tumbler bearing. I ordered the tumbler bearing kit along with a new front felt seal and a new belt. The dryer is 12 years old. The tumbler bearing needed to be replaced. I decided to replace the belt and front felt seal because they were showing signs of wear. This is the third time I have replaced the belt, second time on the tumbler bearing and first time on the felt seal on a dryer that is 12 years old and used at least every other day. I watched the repair videos concerning each part and the repair went very well.
