Ordered the complete outer tub for whirlpool cabrio. NOTE: rather than dig around with a putty knife looking for the lid releases (like every how to video on the web shows) I found it easier just to remove the two brackets (mine were green colored) on the back of the machine where the top connects to the base, there were only 4 screws, and then bump the lid forrward to remove. If you want the lid to still have a hinge action while working on it then you just need to put the brackets back on now that you have the front loose.
