At first I thought it was just the ignitor, which I ordered, but when I went to replace it, I found that the metal deflector had a hole melted in it which was what melted down onto the ignitor likely causing it to break. There is a GE bulletin for the issue and the new deflector has a large cutout now over the ignitor. One of the ignitor screws stripped and I had to saw it off, this was not easy at all as it was in the far back of the oven. There are a few videos online of taking out the lower oven panel to get access to this which were helpful, the ignitor I bought didn't come with ceramic wire nuts so i had to buy those. These were needed as I did not pull the oven out. I didn't realize the oven door came off so easy, definitely do that, very simple, just flip the little hinges, then the door will easily come off when you are in the closing motion. The screws holding the deflector on and the stainless steel shield stripped out, had to use a flat head to hold them up while I continued to unscrew them to get them out. I went to ACE and bought #8 3/8 flat head screws to replace, the heads were thicker than what I took off but fit just fine. I had to bend a bit of one of the deflector tabs where the holes didn't line up but it went back together easily and I was able to get it back in the oven simply (after taking the door off). Pizza cooking now!!
