I have one tip that I would share about replacing this control board, and that is:
If you have to replace this board, do not remove the complete metal case that houses this board.
Only remove the 2 screws on front edge that holds the bottom of the housing case to the top of the case. The only way you will ever be able to plug the short cables back into the new board is if the top case is already in place. You will never get it all back together if you have removed the entire control board case, and then try to put the whole unit back into place. That's where I wasted most of my time trying to replace the faulty board! After I figured that out, the job wasn't too bad, and I am glad to say that our dishwasher is working tip top again!!!
