I tilted it back and looked at the belt. It was somewhat shredded. The water pump pulley had some 'play' like the bearings were worn, and the motor pulley looked bad.
I ordered those parts online from AppliancePartsPros.com late Tuesday or Wednesday night. It's a bummer not having a washing machine for long. I was pleased and surprised to receive the parts on Friday (two days...wow!).
It took me about hour to replace the bad parts. It works like new now!
