Replaced damper pads. Without a spanner wrench, I used this video as a guide: https://youtu.be/hmpLBxtYR4w. It was pretty much as described. Hard to clean up the old adhesive with a wire brush due to limited access. Used acetone based finger nail remover to remove grease and adhesive in preparation to used the acetone based Maytag adhesive. Applying the adhesive was also a bit difficult because of limited access and sight. Ditto for the lubricant. Also replaced the hose, shown in the video after 36 years of use.
