Read the clutch motor was high failure item , replaced it but no change, the decided to dig deeper, pulled tug from bottom and removed inner tub and found the plastic splined hub was stripped out and replaced it. This could have been done a lot faster by tilting the topic of the washer off the frame and tiring up, the. Removing the tub out ring, which is only clipped in. Removing the agitator, then lifting out the inner tub. It took a few times "jerking" it up and down to get it to come out but there is nothing holding it other than the crud build up.
While was apart noticed the shaft where spline engages the hub is terribly corroded and won't last too much longer. Don't know if it will be woth reaping again without replacing this shaft. This will require ensuring the seals are all intact so I'm not sure if I will go through the trouble. Only good thing about this washer is there really is not a lot of parts on it to fail.
I recommend as this gets model older reduce the load size of clothes,
