Eileen F Santa Fe , NM July 01, 2019 My Maytag Neptune (2005) would not move during the spin cycle and the clothes were still dripping wet. I also had a problem with shutting the door and had to slam it for the door lock to work I ordered the door latch assembly and that was so easy to replace and worked perfectly. I also ordered the motor drive kit that came with the control board. Installed the new control board kit and the motor and tested the spin cycle, but the tub wouldn't turn. After 40 minutes of going through all the test cycles (which we found the paper in the top where the main control board is) Finally figured out that you have to have the door attached and closed so the door lock can lock and then it would spin after it locked the door. Thanks so much for all the information on your site, so helpful. Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 30-60 minutes
