We first emptied out the freezer to another freezer, turned off the refrigerator, and let it defrost.
We ordered a freezer door gasket from Appliance Parts and it arrived within a few days. We watched the video on how to replace it, followed the directions, and the gasket was successfully replaced. However, while the freezer was off, I cleaned the inside. Unfortunately, we turned it on before it completely dried and the water in the tracks caused the drawers to stick. Now we have turned the freezer off again and are letting things dry. We'll coat the tracks with petroleum jelly before we turn it back on again. Hopefully, we didn't break anything when we tried to get the freezer open with the tracks frozen!!!
