I read the diagnostic codes and came up with F8/E1 (not filling or long fill time) and F7/E5 (shifter assembly fault). Sure enough, the double solenoid cold water fill valve had one open coil causing delayed filling. I didn’t test the shifter/washer actuator. After replacing both items and clearing the codes, the washer seems to be working like new. The washer is only 4 years old, so I was somewhat disappointed to notice some oil leakage from the drum drive area. Hopefully it’ll last several more years before that causes a total mechanical failure.
