How to replace Door Switch Kit. After watching a few videos that gave me some idea of what to expect when replacing the defective switch, I removed the door switch. Replaced it with the new switch per the video instructions. I did have some difficulty re-assembling the door on the 25 year old Kenmore Unit. It required an extra set of hands and some 2 part epoxy to repair plastic screw mounts that failed. Overall, I found the job to be an easy repair.
