I have an installed range hood/microwave (GE PNM1871SM1SS) that died mid-reheat. Zero power. Cold lunch. :-( I checked the outlet it's plugged into in the cabinet above and all was well there. Well crap...what to do!? Google to the rescue and I found this possible solution. I opened the unit from the top, basically removing the part that tilts open when venting, and found 2 fuses. If you're repairing a similar unit, note that once the screws are removed, the vent piece slides left to unhook the bottom tabs) I figured only 1 fuse was the problem but didn't have the tools to test them, so I ordered 2 and replaced both (using needle-nose pliers to hold the fuses at the ends worked great!). Viola! My microwave is working like new. Price was great and shipping was incredibly fast.
