The top hook of this latch broke, but still appeared to be connected. It wasn't engaging with the internal switch that completes the circuit for cooking. Closer inspection revealed that the top hook was still hanging on by a little piece of plastic, but was actually broken and not able to engage. I took the door off, took it apart, replaced the latch and reassembled. All is working again.
