Richard N Jacksonville , FL August 06, 2015 Appliance: Model KENMORE Needed to change out the grease and carbon filters on an old microwave I bought a house that had an old (but serviceable) Kenmore microwave over the stove. When I cooked on the stove the poor microwave filters couldn't do their job and the whole house got stunk out.. I drove to Sears who didn't stock them. I went online to Sears.com and they didn't stock them either. Then I found AppliancePartsPros.com and they had everything really cheap!! I ordered them and immediately replaced the grease filters with no tools. I looked at the schematic drawing for the carbon filter and immediately figured out how to take off the front grill with a screwdriver and replace the filter. The whole job took less than 20 minutes using just the schematic drawing and a screwdriver. I saved a ton of $$ and have the old (but still nice) Kenmore microwave up and running without stinking out my house. 19 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
