I went online and put the description of my problem in the search engine and there popped up several responses that indicated the fan was probably not working. I took the back off of the refrigerator and sure enough the fan was not working. I unplugged the refrigerator and cleaned the fan and it started working. But it kept doing the same thing again and again. I decided I needed to replace the fan. I found the fan on appliance parts pro and also saw that there was a video on how to replace the fan. After watching the video, I ordered the part and when I got it, I replaced the fan motor and everything has been fine since then. Not being mechanical, I was a little apprehensive about doing the repair myself.
