1. Open oven door all the way
2. Set locks on each hinge by pulling down on lock. May need screwdriver to pry.
3. Bring door to almost closed position then remove door and place on protected area.
4. Remove 6 screws to separate door front and rear panel. While panels are separated clean inside glass.
5. Remove existing door hinge by removing 3 screws. Left and right.
6. Install new hinge and reverse steps to close up.
7. Caution when tightening screws as some ovens are porcelain coated and may crack.
8. Install door back into oven frame by holding door almost closed and inserting the hinge into the oven frame. Once installed OPEN door completely and set locks.
Note: While not necessary, we take pictures of each step just in case. We had A & E appliance repair out and paid their fee for telling us what was wrong with the oven. After we found out that it was going to cost use $400-$500 to fix the doors and repair the oven (other issues with control board and thermostats) we thought would would watch some videos on You Tube. We strongly suggest that you do this before paying large fees to have a parts replacer (so called technician) come out. Then go to AppliancePartsPros for the parts.
