By reviewing comments made by other owners of the same model washer, it was determined that the temperature switch was the culprit. From watching a YouTube video that demonstrated the replacement of this part, I decided to take the repair on myself. The part was received in 2 days as promised (I paid for express shipping). From the time I turned off the water to the washer, I was in and out in less that 15 minutes. Saved myself $150 for a service call. Also, what I paid for the part, plus expedited shipping, was less that my local part supplier wanted for the same part. Time well spent. By the way, the only tool required was a putty knife, to release the control panel from the machine cabinet.
