This is a GE built-in kitchen oven, so the procedure is slightly different from the video, not much though. The biggest problem was to find out the exact replacement element number. Went through several steps after finding the manufacturer (GE) plate on the oven, and several steps to find the most current replacement number. At this point I also found out about the AppliancePartsPro.com. Even though I found couple of places where this element was slightly cheaper, I got the impression that the AppliancePartsPros know what they are talking about and that they would be able to support me if anything went wrong, so I purchased this part from them.
I had to locate the proper circuit breaker, which I found by looking at the oven light going off with tripping the correct breaker. I double checked with voltmeter, once I exposed the contacts - I hate being shocked, it hurts!
The contacts were screw-on, slightly hard to put on, so I started the screws before actually going in. My big stomach just interfered too much with the opened drawer, the screwing was bit of a long distance. I was worried about loosing the wires in the insulation, but all went fairly easy, literally 10 minutes to completion.
I would certainly buy from AppliancePartsPros again.
