I looked at the glow plug device and saw that it was not glowing. I know enough that if no spark or glow occurs, the gas valve will not open to allow gas to go into the burner and light.
I took a photo of it, went to appliance Parts Pro and put in the model of the gas range, then found the igniter and ordered it. It came in only one day, it had instructions and I was able to install and get the oven working within an hour. Saving hundreds of dollars on a service call (no doubt!).
