Replaced igniter. Much of the time needed was spent trying to separate a very unusual wire connector to check the continuity of the old igniter. Then I almost gave up on removing the igniter from the burner until I learned from the AppliancePartsPros.com video that I could easily remove the whole burner assembly first. The rest of the job was pretty straightforward. The igniter arrived the day after I ordered it, with no extra shipping charge. (But I was uneasy spending $100+ on a part for a 26-year-old oven, that might or might not fix it.)
