Tammy M Uniontown , PA December 01, 2017 Appliance: Model KENMORE Oven made popping sound and red flash of light burner still worked and no sign of broken heating element. Unplugged old control panel and plugged in replacement. 5 different colored wires slid easily onto metal prongs. Long plastic piece with thin prongs had to be pried up with screwdriver. You will also need plastic face plate. I was able to peel old one and reuse it. Used razor blade to cut adhesive. Oven clicked back on as soon as it was plugged back in. Set clock time and oven was operational again. Part a bit pricey but $200 fix for 13 year old stove better than cost of replacement. Plus I couldn’t justify it if burners were still operational.
