The oven is a wall unit and the element is a hidden type. Turned off breaker, slid out oven and left rear resting on cabinet ledge and supported front with automotive jack stands. Once you remove the the lower front trim piece it exposes the two small screws to allow element cover plate to be removed by lowering front of it and sliding it forward. Careful element will fall out. Replaced element reinstalled in reverse order. Was able to perform this task by myself. Used a #2 Phillips, #1 Square driver and needle nose
