Bob T Schenectady , NY August 24, 2014 Appliance: Model WCVH6260FWW Could have been one of three parts $300 each The drum in my front-loading washer had stopped spinning. After searching through the AppliancePartsPros forum, I determined it was one of three possible dead parts. There was plenty of info to help me narrow it down to those three, then test and diagnose it down to two of the three. My only stumbling block was that apparently GE changed the model number from WCVH6260FWW to WCVH6260F0WW (adding that extra zero after the F) and it made finding info a little difficult. One of the Pros stated that the two models were identical, but before that point it was very confusing. Inverter or Motor? Some more research lead me to realize that power was going in but not coming out of the Inverter, and several of the Pros mentioned that it was a simple fix. I did see it mentioned that it's rarely BOTH parts, so I took a gamble based on the advice I received and came up a jackpot winner! It was the inverter, and a new part was delivered to my door in record time (not even 2 full days!). The install took me less than 5 minutes, and after it was in I ran a test mode (again, something I learned on your great site!) and the drum started spinning once again! The issue was fixed! 5 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes
