The APP website had the diagrams and videos for me to accurately diagnose the problem and select the proper part. That was the biggest part of the pre-work and went perfectly.
There were several warnings on the comments sections that it will take longer to get the dishwasher to slide out than to do the actual repair. This was true in my case, so here are my additional notes: I did not do the initial install of the dishwasher and we have granite countertops, so the dishwasher was not secured to the countertop. Instead, there were two stainless steel caps on the left and right (about 2/3 of the way up, with the door open) under which were two screws securing the sides of the dishwasher to the adjacent cabinet. The screws went through some metal 'wings' on the outside frame of the dishwasher, which had flared out in order to securely attach to the adjacent cabinet. These needed to be bent back in so that the dishwasher would slide out without them catching on the adjacent cabinet. I used two putty knives (one on each side) and also needed a helper. The extra hands were needed to hold the wings in while sliding out the cabinet. The repair was easily accomplished as per the video after the dishwasher was slid out about one foot.
