Ordered new belt and idler pulley (didn’t need pulley). This is an uncommon euro style Samsung dryer. Not much info. Gotta take entire thing apart to remove drum. Which isn’t that bad. But it’s takes time. Good thing is it’s entirely part so give it a good clean. There was a lot of lint built up below the lint tray. And garbage. Replaced drum and then looped the belt on drum and connected to idler pulley. Put the rest together. Dries much much better after the cleaning and replacing the clogged dryer ducting.
Yes you gotta remove the entire front panel with door, the front structural brace, the front lint tray ducting and the metal electronics box to the left of the drum. It all comes off.
Make sure the pulley wheels on the front spin freely. Remove and get the hair and gunk off. Grease and replace.
And if your heating element dies that’s a super easy repair. Just need to remove the top and the teardrop shape metal panel from the rear. Much simpler job.
