I first thought it was the heating element. So I ordered one and put it in. It was not it. Then I checked the sensors with a meter and I saw it was one of the thermal sensor. I bought the kit and replaced them. Since my dryer is older I was happy I replace the heating element too. While repairing I noticed I had a lot of lint inside. Lint was escaping through the blower cover seal because the seal was old and warn. I vacuumed it all out, scrapped off the old seal and installed a new one. It took longer to repair because I wanted to vacuum and clean the inside before I put it back together. It looks and works like a brand new dryer now.
