The replacement burner was configured differently than the faulty one, although it was similar. I had to remove the connector from one of the wires and then add the supplied length of wire before connecting to the replacement burner. It took me two tries before the burner worked properly. I have to admit that I was a bit nervous doing this type of repair for the first time, but in the end it all worked out for just over $70.00, a far cry cheeper than the service center quoted.
