Replace the fan motor. Had to cut the wires as close to the old fan motor as possible remove three screws. Strip the to cut wires apply the two wires to the new fan motor and place on wire caps. Leaving the original ground wire in place then attached to one of the three screws holding the fan motor took me less than 1 hour yes it's in a tight spot but can easily be done with two tools
