Almost resorted to buying a new fridge entirely. But when I compared the bottom hinge on the freezer side to the bottom hinge on the fridge side, I discovered that the fridge side was completely worn down after years of opening and closing. Makes sense since the fridge side gets opened way more often. It was likely the reason the door was not closing. So I ordered this door closer kit, installed it, and it worked like a charm! The fridge lives to see another day...at 1% the cost of a new fridge!
