Removed the old relay and cut off the wiring. Spliced it onto wire harness from the starter kit using the included butt connectors and heat shrink tubes. Was unsure how to tell the wires in the kit apart (they are both white and there is no clear indication in the instructions as to which is for load and which is neutral) but there are several answers in the comments sections for this part which clearly explain how to determine which to connect to blue and red.
Banged up my knuckles getting the part back in. This was the most tedious part doing this repair on my model of refrigerator, the compressor is almost directly in the corner so there's very little room to maneuver. Installing the clip that secures the starter to the compressor took me longer than any of the rest of the repair did by far. If you're having problems with it just keep at it though, it will slip in place eventually.
Everything seems to be working now, the temperature is dropping and it looks like it's good to go.
The parts shipped very fast. The included instructions were a bit lacking but any questions I had were answered on the site where they had been asked before. All in all a good DIY experience.
