Checked with Appliance Parts Pros to see if problem was in filter housing or back further in the line. Quick response said the housing is where the water shuts off when you change the filter. Ordered new filter housing and filter. Video on AppliancePartsPros was 100% accurate and the repair took about 20 minutes. Some water did seep out of quick connect fitting when I turned the water back on but that stopped after I bled the air out of the lines by running a few quarts through the new filter and housing. Success!
