The Grease filter slides right in...make sure it covers the entire area. The Charcoal filter has 2 screws on top...once those are removed carefully lift top and slide out old charcoal filter slide new one in ...make sure it goes in the same way as the old. Replace the top with the screws making sure it fits secure and is even on both sides withe the rest of the microwave.
