How to replace Escutcheon Asm. Certain small pieces on back of the Escutcheon Asm had deteriorated with age. The affected pieces prevented the operation of other parts that depended on them to work. The dishwasher interlock switch was unable to work, and the cover interlock could not lock in place. The only option was to replace the Escutcheon Asm entirely. Replacing the Escutcheon Asm was fairly simple. It came with replacement dishwasher spring plunger (WD03X10026) , plunger sw interlock (WD12X10271), Shield Main Board (WD12X10203) and a cover interlock (WD12X10401) as well.
