During the final spin cycle of each load there was a terrible smell of burning rubber and at first thought that it could be a belt or bearings going out. After taking the washer totally apart it was obvious from the condition of the old spider that it was what was causing the issues. It was a little challenge getting the six screws out that hold the spider in but once that was accomplished it went back together fairly easy.
