As a farm equipment mechanic for more than 40 yrs, it was really simple once I found out where the little piece of rubber laying on the kitchen floor, came from. Found my Dishwasher model on Google, looked up parts for the door and found that the little damper had broke. Ordered two new ones on line, and when I received them, it took me maybe 5 minutes to replace. If people watch the repair video, it is really quite simple if you have any mechanical ability at all. All of my electrical and water lines were long enough that I did not have to unhook any of this, as I was able to easily slide the dishwasher out about 8 inches after removing the two retainer screws.
