Model # was inside frig door. Looked # up on the internet. AppliancePartsPros.com identified the part number and price was reasonable, ordered. Came really fast, thank goodness!
Watched a YouTube video on how to install. It worked just like they said it would. Took out the broken part. Loosened some screws and fitted the new part. When all was in its proper place, plugged the frig back in, turned water on and hoped it would work again. Eureka! We have ice.
I am 69 years young, and my husband wasn't sure I could complete the job. The most difficult part was the two of us pushing the frig back into place.
