Isauro D Suisun City , CA August 20, 2016 Appliance: Model SAMSUNG MICROWAVE SMH 9207ST Samsung microwave smf 9207st vent and light button pushed in After searching how much it would cost to repair, i felt i should just replace the microwave till one of the customer in the appliance repair shop told me to order the replacement button. I research and found that it was cheap to replace with basic tools. Ordered the parts, and it took me 20 minutes to replace. Removed two screws (top) holding the hood piece, slide it to the left and pull forward. Remove one screw holding the control board, lift and pull. Took pictures of all wire connection and remove the board, this will give you access to the part to replace. I also read the poor design and placed a small hard rubber to put behind the button board. Solid fix. Wife is happy so i'm happy too. 16 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
