(1) turn off water and power to refrigerator. You will know if there is any pressure left in the lines because the lines going in to the valve will be hard to remove. Use a wrench and press down on the fittings holding water lines then pull the water lines out of the fittings. Also, check the lines for pinhole leaks. If the leak is close to the end of the line, then you can cut off the bad piece, just make sure that you have enough water lines left so that you have slack in the lines. Push the new lines into the fittings making sure there are tight ( a slight tug on the lines is a good double check) finally hook up your electrical. If you have water in the door plus an ice maker make sure the wires are going to the correct solenoid. Turn water on and plug in refrigerator check for leaks then mount the valve to where it attaches to to the back of the refrigerator
