Replaced the Idler pulley and drive belt. I found that the Idler pulley would not turn freely and the belt was badly worn. As a temporary fix while I waited for parts I removed the pulley and cleaned the shaft and bushing. I installed the new parts and the dryer works fine. The old pulley was binding again after just 6 days. NOTE: the video was good but it was a different model than ours
( MEDZ400TQ1 ) which required the removal of 2 additional screws behind the door that go into the lint basket in order to remove the front of the unit It was a bit of work but I feel great saving hundreds of $$$$ in repair bills.
