Dishwasher only 3 years old and one night I didn’t hear the spray arms spraying and the circ pump didn’t sound right. No error codes but I deduced it had to be the circ pump and not the diverter as I didn't hear any water flowing. Drain pump and inlet valve worked fine. Figured I might as well replace the whole sump unit with the circ pump and diverter already installed. Was able to do the replacement without taking out the dishwasher which was good. After install, I made sure to run a the diagnostic cycle which allowed the subsequent wash cycle to do calibration. This is very important...don’t forget this step and do NOT interrupt that first wash/calibration cycle...just let it do its thing!
