The main culprit was the belt tension idler pulley. It was quite worn out. This was replaced along with the four rollers which support the drum and replaced the felt drum seals while I was at it. The drive belt was also replaced.
While I had the dryer apart, I gave it a thorough cleaning, it was not too difficult to preform this repair, just take your time and make sure you take a lot of pictures if unsure how to it should go back together.
The parts I ordered fit perfectly. The time to receive the parts was very short, they shipped the same day as ordered.
