George A Appleton , WI July 10, 2014 Appliance: Frigidaire Dishwasher PLD4375RFC2 Frigidaire Dishwasher Pld4375rfc2: Would always stop in mid cycle and display pf error code power checked out ok would run the rinse cylce ok but not other cycles. How to replace Control Board. Replaced the Control Board. I felt only about 90% certain that the replacement Control Board would fix the problem. There was no way to troubleshoot further than to try a new board. I had monitored the power (120VAC) at the door switch using a MIN/MAX Volt Meter during a cycle. After it stopped with pf display, the Voltage had dipped no lower than 118V. I concluded that source power (circuit breaker, wiring connections) was not the problem. I did not find anyone or any website that had experienced my exact symptoms. Most places only suggested checking the incoming power in case of pf code (which means Power Fail) I was relieved that I had not thrown away $150 when the replacement board fixed the problem. 4 People found this story helpful Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: 15-30 minutes
