Ordered igniter which comes without connectors due to the fact that there are many. I removed the floor of the oven. Unscrewed the strip which the igniter is attached to so that I could reach the screws to detach the igniter. Pulled the "Oven warmer" drawer out. Most of us us this drawer for cookie sheets.... cut the wires to the old igniter, leaving a good amount of wire still attached to the connectors. (Do not remove the connectors! ). I then stripped the wire of the new igniter which came with wire nuts. I also use electrical tape around the wire nuts as a safety precaution. Attached the new igniter to the flame strip. Drawer back in place. And of course, I turned gas supply off and unpulled the oven. I'm a 53 year old female. You can do this too ? look for oven model number on the body of the oven by pulling out the drawer. Number should be on a silver plate on the left side. Pretty easy job. Done!
