Without taking apart the top of the cooktop with all the burners i just replaced the bad one which happened to be on the extreme left. it was difficult as i had little space to work with but a couple of 13 mm wrenches got it going and i did it.instead of ordering a single burner for $71 ,i got the manifold with 5 burners attached and removed one. i now have an inventory of 4 more! I thought the price difference was crazy!!! i paid 114 for the manifold. the problem with replacing the manifold was that the top of the stove needs to be removed and some of the screws have disintegrated and have to be drilled out? replacing just the bad valve that froze after 5 years was something i could do myself.i searched the internet, maytag etc and only your site had a picture of the manifold so that i knew i was ordering the right part. it took 4 days but that included a weekend so that was ok with the fed ex tracking updates etc. you guys are great!!!
it took over an hr because i was careful and also cleaned the floor after moving the stove away from the wall etc.
