My refrigerator was sweating along the mullion strip in-between the 2 doors and would accumulate enough water droplets to eventually run down the front of the freezer door. The refrigerator door gasket appeared to be in need of replacement so I ordered one and replaced it. The seal was very easy to replace and changed in less than 15 minutes. It wasn’t nearly as difficult on my LG refrigerator as the video on the web site. This seemed to help but didn't completely solve the problem.
I called Appliance Parts Pros and spoke with a technician at the order desk and told her the problem I was having. The woman researched her database and said that most likely the problem was that the heater in the mullion strip was no longer working and that the mullion would need to be replaced. I ordered the mullion and again the replacement was very easy; about 15 minutes and only required a phillips head screwdriver. When I removed it from the door, the wires came off in my hand. Voila; this completely solved the condensation problem! My 5 year old refrigerator is as GOOD AS NEW! Both parts were reasonably priced and arrived very quickly. I'm very thankful for the expert advice I received from Appliance Parts Pros.
