It was my second time experiencing the issue, the first time Samsung sent their repairman as it was under warranty. I noted how quick the job was so figured I could handle it this time around. The most difficult part was pulling out the full washer. After that it was two screws to the back panel and the thermistor is easily accessible. I saw that a yellow wire had come out of the back of the part which the thermistor was plugged into. A bit of electrical tape and the machine was working again, but that being said, to replace the thermistor itself would have been extremely simple.
